Pressure treated lumber typically comes from light posts, fence posts, fences, terraces and other lumber that has been used outdoors. Was used during the period of 1950-2002. The item originates from commercial activities from municipal recycling stations or from own sorting activities. Pressure treated lumber is hazardous waste and is subject to delivery and declaration requirements.
Collection

Processing
Transported, reloaded and possibly pre-treated before forwarding to treatment plants authorized to treat such waste. Possible pre-treatment includes pre-sorting, grinding, sieving and the magnetic removal of nails, etc.
Recycling
Pressure treated lumber is destroyed in treatment plants authorized to treat such waste ideally by incineration for energy extraction.
