Description
The item consists of mixed lumber from construction and demolition projects.
Collection
Collected using hook and lift containers.
Processing
Upon arrival, a visual inspection is conducted. The wood is then shredded and screened to the agreed size. Nails and similar materials are removed using magnets.
Recycling
The processed wood chips are used for district heating and process steam in approved incineration plants.
Non-compliance
A sorting fee may be applied if the waste is not properly sorted. If sorting is not possible, the entire load may be reclassified as residual waste or impregnated wood.
