Description
The item consists of mixed lumber from construction and demolition projects.
Collection
Hook lift containers.
Processing
Upon entry, a visual check is performed at the waste reception facility, the wood is ground down and sieved to the agreed size. Nails, etc. are removed by magnets.
Recycling
Finished mixed chips are used as district heating and process steam in approved waste-to-energy plants.
Non-compliance
A sorting fee may be charged if the item is not sorted into a homogeneous fraction.
If sorting is not possible, the entire delivery can be reclassified to residual waste or pressure treated lumber.
